We had a very special visitor on Sunday 17th November in the shape of Bishop Tony Porter from the Diocese of Southwell and Nottinghamshire.
Bishop Tony kindly blessed the Centre-wide developments we have undertaken to date as part of our ongoing five year refurbishment plan. Starting with one of our most recent commitments, the first floor commercial kitchen, Bishop Tony shared the following words:

We're now running Ceroc classes every Tuesday evening, which are a great success and means there will be an influx of brand new dancers experiencing their very first freestyle!
This lovely venue is a real gem and has a fantastic sprung dance floor, a licensed bar and plenty of parking (it's a pay and display car park on site but totally free after 6pm!).

Lovelace Theatre Group will be holding their annual October production here at the John Godber Centre Hucknall, Nottingham on the 17th and 18th October with their production of One Man, Two Guvnors by Richard Bean, presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH LTD, a Concord Theatricals Company.
Newly unemployed Francis Henshall becomes minder to small time gangster Roscoe Crabbe. But Roscoe is really his sister Rachel, who is posing as her own dead brother after he was killed by her boyfriend Stanley Stubbers.
Francis spots the chance of an extra meal ticket and takes a second job with one Stanley Stubbers, who is hiding from the police ...
