The John Godber Centre is the perfect place to celebrate your children's christening with friends and family, following the church service. We have the facilities to cater for your guests and make your christening reception a celebration to remember.

The Byron

The Byron is the perfect setting for your child’s Christening, with use of the downstairs Byron's Bar for drinks and access to the garden area for photos.

The Byron Suite

For medium Christenings up to 100 people the Byron Suite provides the ideal amount of space or extra space in addition to the Byron for little ones to play. Use of the Byron's Bar for drinks and access to a private patio area at the side of the building.

The Portland

For larger Christenings, the Portland is available (80 + guests), with the adjoining Ben's Bar area and direct access from the car park and St Mary Magdalene’s Churchyard.
