SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Contact the John Godber Centre team on 0115 963 9633 or email to reception@johngodbercentre.co.uk to express an interest in sponsoring the 2024 Festival and supporting its home The John Godber Centre (registered charity 1132272)

The John Godber Centre is pleased to confirm that with the help of Nottingham CAMRA the Hucknall Beer Festival will be back this February. The Hucknall Beer Festival is our largest fundraising event to raise funds to further develop the Centres facilities for the benefit of the Hucknall community.

The John Godber Centre is a registered charity, charity number 1132272, and for over 116 years now has continued the vision of Cannon John Godber to create a hall for the local community to meet and socialise in the centre of the town. The Centre is home to over 50 different groups including theatre groups, social groups for the elderly and bereaved, young person’s and baby groups, dance classes, weight loss groups and fitness classes to name but a few as well as being a venue for hire for the communities “life events” including wedding receptions, birthdays, anniversaries, christenings and funerals.
As a registered charity, our income is provided from room hire, bar takings and fundraising events with all proceeds going back into the Centre for the redevelopment of the facilities for the whole of the Hucknall community to enjoy. In the past few years we have invested heavily in the refurbishment of the building including redecoration, new ceiling and lighting for the main hall, new furniture throughout the venue and curtains, installation of free WIFI facilities, and refurbishment of the two bar areas and first floor commercial kitchen. All of these works are part of a 5-year strategy plan to improve the building and its facilities for future generations to enjoy and proceeds from the annual Hucknall Beer Festival have greatly supported our investment in the building and its resources.

The Hucknall Beer Festival will be a four-day festival attracting Real Ale and Cider drinkers from all over the Nottinghamshire area with some customers travelling in the past from as far as Cornwall to visit our event.

To raise funds to help support the event sponsorship is available for the festival and The John Godber Centre team would be happy to provide further details. Sponsors can be businesses, community organisations, individuals or pubs.

If you are interested in sponsoring a barrel please contact us at the Centre on 0115 963 9633 or by email reception@johngodbercentre.co.uk to discuss the sponsorship of a locally produced beer and supporting fundraising for the John Godber Centre.
