DESCRIPTION:Come join us for our October Community Craft Fair \nThese new regular events are a lovely crafternoon for the whole community to enjoy welcoming craft stalls along with community and charity stalls and a warm and friendly welcome each time to our community venue in Hucknall. \nThere will be a cakes and refreshments area to raise funds for our registered charities and a children’s activity corner for younger visitors. Our hope is to provide a place to meet and catchup in the local area and shop some wonderful creatives and sip. \nWe welcome new stall holders selling crafts\, gifts\, books and beauty as well as regular stall holders who have stood with us in the past at our festive and seasonal events. \nThe John Godber Centre and its churches are part of registered charity (charity number 1132272) and stall hire as well as funds raised on the day contribute to our activities and refurbishments. \nWe’re pleased to share Lovelace Theatre Group will be joining us raising funds for their community group that is based in the John Godber Centre at our OCTOBER Community Craft Fair.\nThe lovely members of Lovelace Theatre Group will be joining us selling refreshments and cakes during the event and also have a fundraising stall promoting their group and upcoming productions.\nThe group meets here on a Monday and Thursday evening as well as a wonderful junior group on a Wednesday evening (in term time)\nThe group engage in the production of plays\, musicals and amateur theatre and puts on three productions a year and has a long history dating back to the late 60’s. Their next production is the Vicar of Dibley 16th-18th October and their annual pantomime 15th-18th January.  \nThose interested in booking a stall at the events please contact us on 0115 963 9633 or by email reception@johngodbercentre.co.uk. Octobers event is now sold out but we do have space for our November Christmas Market on the 16th November.

Since we last saw them\, they’ve grown even closer\, made plenty of memories\, went on to get married\, had a son and even have grandchildren now!\nThis is a script that has been written by some members of the group.\nThis could be quite triggering for some\, as the production touches on a real subject\, Dementia\, that is close to many peoples hearts and real life experiences that some of the groups members & families have been through themselves. DESCRIPTION:UNFORTUNATELY THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL THE AUTUMN. Due to limited bookings the event will be postponed. Thank you to those who fed back that they want to join us but due to school holiday dates its not possible.\nWe look forward to hosting the event later in 2024 \nOur Rainbow Disco is back for 2024\, Make sure to book you tickets! 🌈 \nWe all worry about things that are beyond our control and how others will respond to us\, to our loved ones.\nIf we can be a bit more kinder\, if we can have a little more understanding for others\, we’ll be making the world a little better for someone else.\nIn someone’s dark moments let’s be the shine\, let’s show them support and kindness\, let’s show the world everyone should be proud of who they are and feel safe about it. \nWe’re proud to be hosting our rainbow disco party once more on Sunday 28th July.\nWe were so humbled by the stories of individuals\, parents\, and loved ones last time we ran this event and are looking forward to our festival of colour this July on Nottingham Pride weekend. \n❤️Our disco party is the bringing together of everyone to celebrate the love and pride in our town and community.\n🧡Tickets are £2 and can be purchased by contacting the John Godber Centre (email reception@johngodbercentre.co.uk or call 0115 963 9633)\n💛Our licenced bar is open for drinks and snacks but do feel free to bring your own picnics if you wish.\n💚Feel free to wear something bright or with rainbows or dress as you want to.\n💙There will be games\, crafts\, quizzes and fun as well as music to enjoy.\n💜This event is for all ages including children. \nWe look forward to seeing you there. \nSo many events\, one great venue 💜 \n#community #pride #nottinghampride #eventsvenue #hucknall #pride2024
