DESCRIPTION:Unfortunately\, we’ve made the tough decision to postpone our upcoming Back to School Adults Disco\, originally scheduled for this Saturday evening.\n\nWhile there’s been fantastic interest in the concept\, the booked numbers just aren’t quite where we’d need them to create the party atmosphere we’re aiming for with this new event format. Rather than go ahead with a more intimate crowd\, we want to ensure the event atmosphere matches the excitement and success of our other annual events — and that everyone has a truly memorable evening.\n\nWe’re sorry for any disappointment this may cause\, particularly to those who had already booked tickets — we know you were looking forward to it\, and so were we! Our team\, along with the brilliant crew from Festers Disco\, had been putting lots of energy into the décor\, entertainment\, and planning\, so this wasn’t a decision made lightly.\n\nA huge thank you to everyone who booked and supported us. We truly appreciate your enthusiasm\, and we’re already exploring new dates and themes (not so close to the holidays!) to launch our disco  events in a way that brings everyone together for the fun night we all want it to be.\n\nMore to come soon — and thank you again for your continued support!\n  \n🎓✨ BACK TO SCHOOL DISCO – SATURDAY 6th SEPTEMBER ✨🎓\nBefore the new term begins\, we’re taking you on a retro rewind at the John Godber Centre with a daytime disco🎶 \nGrab your classmates\, dust off your school ties\, and relive the ultimate decades of music.\nFrom 80s synth-pop to 90s anthems and 00s bangers – we’ve got a playlist that’ll have you dancing from the first bell to the final beat.\nCome join us for a fun filled afternoon of drinks and dancing with our usual team purple twist on  fun and games . \nThis events is for adults only\, the kids have had their fun over summer now’s your time to party! \nFancy dress is encouraged (old school uniforms\, retro\,  neon\, scrunchies – go wild!) \nWe’ll have retro drinks offers at the bars\, fun and games with the usual team purple twist\, our own tuck shop and drag queen special guest appearance  \nLet’s make one last summer memory before the homework starts! \nJohn Godber Centre\, Hucknall\, Notts– Be there or be square! \nTickets are on sale now from the JGC office call 0115 963 9633 or email reception@johngodbercentre.co.uk to book\n£3 in advance early bird price
