Meetings and Conferences

The John Godber Centre has a number of rooms that are suitable for conferences and meetings.

Whatever the size of your event we have a range of facilities to suit all your needs including a large main hall, two ground floor suites, a seminar room and two bar areas.  The Centre can cater for meetings, networking events, conferences, training and exhibition space for up to 200 people. You will benefit from our in house dedicated team who take the utmost care in the preparation and execution of each of our events.

Our meeting rooms

Each of our meeting rooms can be arranged in different ways to suit your event.
We can also provide break out rooms for workshops, training and examinations.

Main Hall
The Main Hall is a large room which is ideal for large conferences or exhibitions.
It benefits from a large stage, private entrance direct from the car park and separate bar area which is suitable for a small break out area or refreshment area.

The Suite
The Suite combines the Byron Suite and Studio by opening the movable wall allowing a larger room that can accommodate up to 100 people.  The space benefits from a kitchenette area for refreshments and double doors leading to a small patio area.

Byron Suite
The ground floor Byron Suite is suitable for smaller meetings or as a syndicate room. The space benefits from a kitchenette area for refreshments and double doors leading to a small patio area.

Studio
The ground floor Studio is suitable for smaller meetings, as a syndicate room or as a demonstration area which is ideal for any physical workshops.

Seminar Room
The ground floor Seminar Room is a small boardroom suitable for small board meetings and presentations. The room benefits from large wooden tables and high back leather seats.

Ground Floor Bar
The downstairs bar is ideal as a break out area for the ground floor suites but can also be used as a syndicate room for the other meeting rooms.

For charities and community groups discounted rates are available on all room hire packages. The John Godber Centre can also offer business support services including photocopying, printing and typing for a small additional charge.
